NWB’s projects in Haiti, Mexico and Phoenix are all volunteer-staffed. Click the following links for more information about volunteering at each site:
Haiti Volunteers work with us in the Cap Haitien, Haiti area for a minimum of one week. We accept volunteers with a medical background, medical students, as well as community volunteers. Volunteers stay in our volunteer house and have the opportunity to see Haiti from a medical, community, cultural and tourist perspective.
Mexico Volunteers work with us in Puerto Peñasco “Rocky Point”, Mexico one weekend each month. We accept volunteers with a medical background, medical students, as well as community volunteers. We leave from Tempe, AZ on Friday evening to drive to Mexico, stay in hotels, have clinic on Saturday and return to Tempe on Sunday.
Phoenix Volunteers work with us in the Roosevelt district in Phoenix, AZ, each Saturday in two shifts: Morning and Afternoon.
